"Azumino"in Nagano Prefecture

I've stayed in Nagano prefecture about two weeks for sketch.
This area is called "Azumino".
"Azumi" means the sea,in an ancient Japanese language.
In this area as known as high mountains area in Japan.
You can see northern Japanese alps"kita-alps mountains".
It is wondering why named "Azumino" means field of sea.
Because, in Nara period,
A family called "Azumi-zoku"lived in the Inland Sea of Japan "Setonaikai".
They emigrated to Azumino by orders of an emperor of Yamato dynasty.
Now, Azumino famous area as beautiful landscape and the riches of nature.

I will continue paintig cherry blossoms in Fukushima on Kawamata silks

One of my work,"Kanon-Takizakura-" painted on Kawamata silks made in
Fukushima pref, will be exhibited as an item in the collection,
a hospital lounge in Kagoshima pref from this April.
Now, I've painted more this work until the schedule day in this March.
Pasted 3years from that day"3.11."
I will continue painting cherry biossoms and many flowers ,
animals, insects, and all living things .

福島県産川俣シルクに三春、会津で写生した桜達を描いた作品が
九州のほうの病院に収蔵されることになりました。
3月末の期日まで、春の院展・出品画と並行して加筆制作しています。
　
　
2011・3.11から3年、制作のために入手した川俣シルクは
全部で100ｍ余、
これからも東北、福島に行き、写生、制作を続けていきます。
